Registration

  1. If you have never registered on this site, use "Registration" in the navigation pane (left menu), and provide the requested information.
  2. Click on the Submit button.
  3. If you see an error message after submitting the Registration form, close that message window by clicking on the red X in the right‐hand corner, and try again.
  4. After successful registration, you will see a confirmation message. To close the confirmation message, click the red x in the right‐hand corner.
  5. The email you provided will receive a temporary access code within minutes after successful registration.
  6. Return to the portal using the link given in the email.
  7. Using the Login form, enter the email address you registered with in the space labeled "Email."
  8. Enter the temporary access code in the space labeled "Password OR Access Code." NOTE: If you have copied the code from your email, paste it by right‐clicking the box and selecting "Paste." You can also type in the code.
  9. Click on the Submit button.
  10. If you see an error message after submitting the form, close that message window by clicking on the red X in the right‐hand corner, and re‐enter the correct email address and temporary access code.
  11. Upon successful log in using a temporary access code, you will be prompted to create a password.

Password Requirements

  1. The minimum length is 8 characters.
  2. Required characters include a combination of letters and numbers.
  3. A minimum of one (1) upper case and one (1) lower case letter is required.
  4. Special characters are not allowed (#,@,!,?, etc.).
  5. Please confirm your password choice if "Confirm Password" is present. Make sure to type in the same values for "Password" and "Confirm Password."
  6. Click on the Submit button.
  7. If you see an error message after submitting the form, close that message window by clicking on the red X in the right‐hand corner, and try again.

Login

  1. Using "Login" in the navigation pane (left menu), enter the email address you registered with in the space labeled "Email."
  2. Enter your password in the space labeled "Password OR Access Code."
  3. Click on the Submit button.
  4. If you see an error message after submitting the form, close that message window by clicking on the red X in the right‐hand corner, double check your information, and try again.

Forgot Login?

  1. Using the Forgot Login form, enter the email address you registered with in the space labeled "Email".
  2. Click on the Submit button.
  3. If you see an error message after submitting the form, close that message window by clicking on the red X in the right‐hand corner, double‐check your information, and try again.

Nebraska Extension’s Pesticide Safety Education Program (PSEP)

PSEP is located on East Campus at Lincoln, Nebraska. In concert with Extension Specialists, Educators, Associates, and Assistants, PSEP provides resources that address pesticide safety to promote human health, the environment, and economic well‐being. Programs include traditional certification training for pesticide applicators; integrated pest management in a variety of environments; pesticide safety awareness for the general public, youth, and master gardeners; and online programs such as Private Applicator Certification Training. What This Portal Does:

PSEP User Account Management

With this portal (user management system), you can create a single‐user account to access PSEP online products and resources that address pesticide safety and education to promote human health, the environment, and economic well‐being.

We currently offer Private Applicator Training approved by the Nebraska Department of Agriculture (NDA).

Ultimately, this portal will provide online access to web‐based certification courses, PDFs of category training manuals, and enhanced digital manuals with video clips and images.
